About the Company
The firm was founded in 2006 by Managing Partners Marian Temesvary & Janet Vinci, expanding on a rich history of delivering successful new business development programs. Our achievements are built on extensive strategy, marketing and new business experience at major client and marketing entities. Linkergy’s mission is to create successful new business programs for business-to-business professional service firms. We provide comprehensive, customized new business development solutions from strategy through execution. Linkergy is a team of senior-level new business professionals with both services and client experience – and all programs are overseen by one of the Partners. Our programs are fully customized and remain proprietary to the client; we do not share or sell lists, sales platform concepts or research. Linkergy has proven health care industry expertise to support service firms, foundations and others targeting the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and device sectors. Other industries we’ve conducted numerous successful programs for include architecture, IT, event management and non-profit.
What’s in a name?
Over the years, we’ve been asked many times about the origin of Linkergy. The answer should come as no surprise, given the nature of our business: We analyzed our goals, our target market, the competitive landscape, and our sales platform and decided what we wanted to communicate. The name needed to signify the connections we build for our clients with their target audience. And it had to be imbued with a sense of forward-motion – the power we bring to our clients’ new business development efforts.
Link and energy were combined and the name Linkergy was born.
Meet the Team
Janet brings over 20 years of marketing experience to Linkergy with an expertise in building brands, developing communications and generating results. Prior to working in the new business development industry, Janet’s background was used to help brand and launch a website development company, and she has spent many years in account management at some of the industry’s leading advertising agencies. Her marketing experience encompasses working in and targeting today’s most sought-after industries – financial services, technology, health care, telecommunications, home and retail. All in conjunction with being a wife to Mike, and raising her two sons, Nick and Andrew – making her the proverbial hockey mom to boot. And she’s served on the board of an international adoption organization focused on helping place HIV-affected children from around the world. Janet holds a B. Sc. in Communications and an MBA in Marketing and Management.
Marian brings 20 plus years of client and agency marketing experience to the business, with a track record of driving growth through brand-building marketing and sales initiatives – layering innovative techniques onto traditional marketing principals. Her career spans b2b and b2c industries, with 10 years in pharmaceuticals and a 7 year stint in consumer appliances. She has directed myriad new business development campaigns for major healthcare communications companies, as well as managed several client campaigns targeting key consumer industries such as automotive and financial services. Her core strengths are in balancing strategy with tactical implementation and the ability to do both without sacrificing the importance or impact of either. Marian is truly a “global marketing maven” – having lived and worked in Europe and Canada during a decade away from the US – and speaks several languages. She is a highly involved aunt to many and is currently raising a very well adjusted city dog. Marian holds a B. Sc. in Marketing and an MBA in General Management.
Walter is a digital marketing strategist with over 20 years of experience working with companies of all sizes to build their business online. He uses a diverse technical skill set along with creative abilities, experience and state-of-the-art industry knowledge to assess the online opportunities for organizations and then build and calibrate their digital marketing strategies and components into a highly profitable revenue source for their business. In 2014, Walter published the book The Small Business Digital Marketing Playbook, which provides a practical, no-nonsense guide for small and medium-sized businesses to attract and retain customers online.
